Live-Edge Knotted Serving Board with Leather Handle

Each of these one-of-a-kind "knotted" serving boards is made from local Virginia eastern black walnut. The live edges are preserved and sanded smooth for a clean finish on both sides. Knots are cleaned out by hand with a chisel to remove any loose bark and then sanded and polished with a Dremel. The board is dimensioned on two sides, planed, sanded up to 400 grit, and conditioned with hydrating wood serum and conditioner. Lastly, a natural brown leather strap is attached to one side using aged bronze screws to act as a handle (or hanger). You have the option to choose between dark, medium, and light brown leather for your handle.

Please note that knots, grain, and sizes may vary slightly from the product in the photos due to the natural look and feel of each piece of live-edge walnut, but each product will be roughly 10" (L) by 8" - 12" (W). 

The oak serving boards are roughly 17" (L) x 10" (W).

I'm currently using Odie's Oil to condition these boards — it's the best blend of oil and wax I've tried! It's food-safe, solvent-free, non-toxic, waterproof, and contains natural UV inhibitors.
